Technical illustration is a combination of drafting, art, and technical writing. Its purpose is to explain
a system, a piece of equipment, or a procedure to a non-technical audience. Thus the focus of the technical illustrator is the audience. If the reader cannot understand the concept, the illustration, no matter how technically accurate or artistic, fails.

My name is Wayne Cassell and I have over 18 years experience creating technical illustrations for various industries. I have Associates Degrees in Mechanical Drafting and
in Graphic Design
and Multimedia.
